Homemade Fisheye Lense under $20

Lights Camera, Action!

Summertime is coming up and it's also time to be creative and adventurous. Also, fun doesn't always deal with spending lots of money.

For those of you photographers out there who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new lense, take my advice. MAKE YOUR OWN. For just $20 or less, you can create your own homemade fisheye lense in just a couple of minutes. I'm not gonna go into detail about the steps to make this but I can tell you what materials you need in order to make this smart and affordable piece of equipment.

Materials include:
  • PVC Pipe
  • Electric Tape
  • Styrofoam
  • 180 degree peephole (the ones you see on a door)
That's it, really. Another good thing about making this is that all the material can be found at your nearest hardware store, or Home Depot for example. In the end, you'll save lots of money and also be able to take some awesome snapshots or video footage.
